What is Autoheim?

Autoheim is a free browser-based tactical wargame faithful to the classic tabletop ruleset. Two players command small warbands of hired fighters, clashing for gold and wyrdstone in the ruins of a cursed city.

Persistent Campaign

Every battle has lasting consequences. Fighters who survive earn experience and new skills. Those who fall may suffer permanent injuries — or die outright. Warbands grow richer, stronger, and more legendary over a full campaign season.

12 Factions

Choose from twelve classic factions — each with unique fighters, starting equipment, and special abilities. Hire mercenaries, acquire rare artefacts, and send scouts to scavenge the city between battles.

Rules as Written

All game logic follows the official printed rulebooks: the Classic ruleset, the Annual, and Empire in Flames. No house rules, no forum interpretations. If it is in the book, it works here.
